Food & Bev

Eat with us at Laneway 2017! We love quality food just as much as our music, and this year we’re taking it up a notch with another epic range of culinary delights and refreshing beverages. Here’s a small glimpse of what we’ve got lined up...

The Italian word for the drowsy feeling following a satisfying meal. The Abbiocco Food Truck serves up Italian sandwiches with slow cooked meats, as well as an array of tasty balls. Their bacon & mozzarella arancini, beef & bacon meatballs and cheesy fried canederli are sure to leave you feeling satisfied. Abbiocco are passionate about providing quality food made from scratch with local ingredients, at a good price for everyone to enjoy. Come experience the Abbiocco hospitality.

With two established stores in Brisbane, Brat Haus has recently hit the road with a striking kitchen on wheels. The Bratmobile, as it is lovingly known, serves up the usual fare of Australia’s biggest and best German Sausages – The Spicy Knackwurst, The Grilled Bratwurst, The Cheese Kranski, The Smoked Bratwurst, The Firewurst, The Chickenwurst and the Veganwurst – all served on freshly baked bread rolls with onion and sauerkraut and your choice of sauces. They also provide freshly baked pretzels that are in a league of their own.

Catch and Kiss Seafood serve a range of ocean fresh dishes from Brisbane’s most iconic food truck ‘Claudette’. This isn’t your usual fish and chip shop fare. Treat yourself to hand cut, tender calamari, salt and pepper prawns and fresh Aussie fish. Their seafood is served with sweet potato fries or classic crunchy beer battered chips AKA ‘The Best Chips in the Universe’.

If you’re looking for some food for the soul, go no further. Govindas prides itself on affordable, tasty vegetarian dishes that will leave your stomach and mind satisfied. Choose from a variety of pure vegetarian food, including dhal, potato bake, lasagna, samosas, pakoras, and everyone’s festival favourites; kofta balls.

Say hello to Brisbane’s first truck dedicated to the ultimate fan favourite - Mac n’ Cheese. Mac From Way Back brings fresh home-made comfort food to the streets, (and festivals) of Brisbane. Think crispy brisket burgers, chorizo loaded fries and Mac bowls, all served with Mac’s signature seven cheese Mac n’ Cheese.

Mr Burger started as a lone food truck in 2012 after Daragh Kan and Myles Munro took an inspiring trip to the USA. Obsessed with American-style burgers, they set out to create an burger they could call their own, using the freshest local Australian produce from family-owned suppliers. The first duo began flipping burgers and winning hearts in their hometown of Melbourne in 2012, and in 2016 they brought their winning burger formula to Brisbane.

A group of Brisbane mates addicted to the art of meat smoked over fire. The process is painstaking but the result is well worth it. Using only locally sourced produce the lads are dedicated to bringing authentic Texan style BBQ to Brisbane. Smoking on their Radar Hill custom built trailer pit, dubbed 'The Bone Collector,' the team at Barbecue Mafia have your Beef Brisket and Pork Shoulder cravings covered.

Nestled in Brisbane’s iconic River Quay, Popolo Italian Bar & Kitchen boasts South Bank’s most authentic Italian feasting experience on the banks of the sparkling Brisbane River. This Laneway Popolo brings its relaxing dining vibe to you serving up quality woodfired pizzas and tasty Italian delights.

Straight from the Apothecary to Laneway, sample some of the most talked-about flavours in town from Moubment Group's (Gerard's Bistro, Gerard's Bar, Hatch & Co., The Defiant Duck) newest venture, The APO. Head Chef Ben Williamson’s signature dishes, chilli fried chicken and Lebanese tacos will be sustaining you in the Laneway Larder, treating both your tastebuds and eardrums at the same time.
